No. This tool is for assessing risks related to carrying out fire alarm works. It does not assess the overall fire safety arrangements, evacuation strategy or fire precautions of a building.
Can I add my own site-specific hazards?
Yes. Use Add Blank Custom Risk to create a fully editable row. You can also overwrite any wording in the suggested risk rows.
Can I use this for fire alarm maintenance and testing?
Yes. The task menu includes routine maintenance, annual service visits, weekly testing, detector testing, cause and effect testing and fault finding.
Can I save the risk assessment as a PDF?
Yes. Select Print / Save PDF, then choose Save as PDF in your browser print options. You can also download the editable data as a CSV spreadsheet.
